Exercise helps your brain and your emotional health. I have regretted not being more consistent about my exercise but I'm changing that. The Queenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01358460112703057022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2726898126089517623.post-85325630967914636702014-06-29T06:47:24.032-04:002014-06-29T06:47:24.032-04:00i've got nearly 10yrs on you and it's trul...i've got nearly 10yrs on you and it's truly amazing at the change in mentality from when i was young (younger than you) to now...back then, you felt invincible; like nothing could ever hurt you/bring you down. terminal illness, disease...none of this enters your mind at that age.<br /><br />however, as you creep closer to 40 (you're a long way off, btw) you start to realize your mortality which is sort of a scary thing because now you hear about your friends being diagnosed with this or that which scares the shit out of you. and that's when you realize that if you had taken care of yourself when you were younger, maybe some of these things could have been prevented. <br /><br />for me, that was the turning point - that instead of looking hot in a bikini or a dress, i wanted to get healthy TO GET HEALTHY and live a long life devoid of disease and physical ailments. and it's sad that it takes a health scare that makes us realize these things.<br /><br />however, it's never too late! turning your health around and making it better will make YOU feel 10000x better. i have never felt so good and because i've taken the focus away from my vanity, i have never been in such amazing shape. living a long life is way more motivating than looking good in a swim suit, i can tell you that much :)<br /><br />get it, girl!! <br /><br />-kathy<br /><a href="http://www.lifeinprogress.ca" rel="nofollow">Vodka and Soda</a>Kathy@MoreCoffeeLessTalkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11044005966979731361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2726898126089517623.post-14145574696167781382014-06-28T14:08:16.784-04:002014-06-28T14:08:16.784-04:00Weights, girlfriend.. You only need to do 2 interval cardio sessions a week (20-30 mins top) but three 45 min weight sessions with heavy weights (3 sets of 8 reps) - ping me for a full body workout..
