I didn't really do much this weekend.
I did watch Star Trek Enterprise with Jack...
Saturday, JJ and I went shopping with Boomer because she is starting swimming lessons this week.
Poor thing...both her parents are weird...
Which is good because she pretty much acts like she's being murdered if you try to take her away from the wall in the pool. I can't deal with all that crazy. Boomer and her dad had a talk and because she did so well on her spelling test she got to pick out a treat. She chose Lego's. Then Sunday morning she put said Lego set together in about 45 mins. She's like...a mechanical genius.
Sunday, JJ decided he just couldn't get enough of us so he came over again. Technically I asked him to come over because I was getting a migraine and needed to go grocery shopping. Then we all watched that snoozefest of a Super Bowl together.
Fun fact. I've only ever really watched 3 Super Bowls in my life that I remember. 2009, when the Saints went. WHO DAT. Last year, because I was on a date. (Yep. Date to watch the Super Bowl...why didn't that one work out?) This year. Because Sherman. Seriously.
I did do Super Bowl makeup though...
I didn't think anything would surprise me more than last years Blackout Bowl. The absolute murder of the Broncos last night proved me wrong. It wasn't even a game. It was a massacre. Of course, Boomer ever the contrarian, was rooting for the Broncos. The only thing really exciting about the Super Bowl was my boo Bruno. Who I'm going to see again this summer. No shame.
Just because...I mean how cute!
I'm going to finish my green smoothie now, and I'll be back tomorrow with some Beauty Talk!
How was your weekend lovelies?
you have the most gorgeous features! and i love taking pics of kiddos sleeping ... so peaceful!
Vodka and Soda
Yeap, last night's game was a snoozefest. And the commercials weren't all that good in my opinion either lol. Wishing Boomer a huge Good Luck with her swimming lessons! Once she learns how to float, she'll be swimming all over the place. p.s. your nails are supercute :)
It def looks like you have a little engineer on your hands! And was it just me or were the commercials last night extra boring too?
I am 100% in support of that Lego building. Having grown up with only engineer-inspired brothers, I have built a crazy amount of Lego contraptions in my life. So fun that she loved it!
That smoothie looks legit, I'm going to the store right now!
First of all... I want your lips.
Seconds... Boomer putting her Legos together wins the precious award in blogland for the day! :)
A lovely weekend! Looks like you have a budding engineer or architect on your hands! Go ahead girl, wit your bad Boomer self!
